***PLEASE NOTE: The “Original” tallow does have a very mild scent. I dry render and triple filter the tallow in order to preserve as many of the nutrients as I can. Doing this also gives the tallow a creamier consistency and longer shelf life since water is never added to it. Please do your research of “dry” rendering vs “wet” rendering. A lot of my customers use our product because it actually works and I like to keep it that way. I will not cave to the pressure of seeing other brands offering bright white and chemically deodorized tallow.
I no longer whip the tallow. I had many complaints this summer about jars not being filled all the way. When the tallow melts, it loses the air that's been whipped into the product. Causing the jars to be less than full apron arrival. When you see beautifully whipped tallows they have additives for emulsification. Emulsifying makes the product stable to prevent melting during transit.
